Hello! My name is Matt Dyor and I am hosting the Fitbit Inventose Challenge where we are looking for next generation product and services invention relating to the Fitbit platform. We believe that there are great inventions to be made on the Fitbit platform, and we have allocated $30,000 that we hope to invest in inventions submitted by challenge participants.
Here is how it works:
You SHARE your basic idea, and people rate your idea
If the ratings and feedback look good, you RECRUIT the team you need to build a compelling prototype.
You and your team BUILD a prototype that you can use to validate
You have the option to file a PATENT application to protect your invention before sharing it with the general public or the Challenge Host. We can help you do this for as little as $130.
Now this is an important one, that most inventors skip: you VALIDATE your invention to gather data on all of your assumptions, including:
who is the customer,
does the customer love your solution,
how much would the invention cost per customer,
how much would each customer pay,
how many customers are there, and
maybe even making your first few sales.
On September 1, we will select and invite finalists by scoring their prototype, their patent application, and their validation. On September 8, we will host a live, on air negotiation with each of the participating finalists, where we work to structure a deal to invest some or all of our allocated $30,000.
